There’s a problem with the pitch line – it keeps dropping down to some really low note. The line is really jagged.
I’m getting an inaudible tone that is running along on the F2 line. It was intermittent, but now seems to be constant. It pulls the curser, or red circle and tracking line down, especially in any pause in the singing.
This problem is not the software, but is some noise or “hum” that is present in or around your system. Usually this comes from either the vibration of the hard disk (especially if using the inbuilt microphone on a laptop), a fan or other machine hum, or from interference from the mains electricity. Check the microphone placement.
The F2 interference is most likely caused by the vibration from your hard disk – somehow it is getting picked up by the microphone.
Most hard drives rotate at 5400 revolutions per minute, and this works out to a vibration of 90 per second or 90Hz. This is very close to F2
60Hz mains hum (as found in America and some other places) is very close to B1 whereas 50Hz mains hum (the rest of the world) is close to G1. Sometimes mains hum will appear an octave above (B2 or G2).
